FACTORY ACCEPTANCE TESTING
Factory acceptance testing generally involves the preparation of test sheets for the factory testing of a panel, followed by witnessing of the testing in the factory and producing a report on the testing and the result. A list is made of any defects found. The rectification is negotiated with the manufacturer before the work is done. The rework is retested as may be required until acceptance by the purchaser.

PROCEDURES - COMMISSIONING / PRE-COMMISSIONING
The procedures for commissioning and pre-commissioning are a step-by-step list of activities to prove the operation of the equipment being commissioned. The procedures include safety aspects and the results to be obtained for successful commissioning. Provision is made for recording the results and persons doing the tests. The procedures are prepared from a detailed analysis of the relevant electrical schematics and component technical data.

Quality assurance is either based on the client's in-house procedures or is prepared to suit the scope of work required for the project. The quality assurance is in accordance with IEC standards. The relevant procedures are prepared and implemented as required.

Electrical project management services are available for the control and co-ordination of a project. This includes trade co-ordination, day-to-day management, reports, cost control, scheduling, team structure, organisation, environmental and safety programmes, milestones and goals.
